Katie Price in 'so much agony' as she prepares for surgery on broken feet before reuniting with Jett and Bunny
KATIE Price has admitted she's in 'so much agony' as she awaits having surgery on her broken feet this week.
Katie, 42, took to Instagram on Tuesday to give her 2.3 million followers an update since she sustained the injury in Turkey last month.
Posting a video of her glittery foot casts on her Story, Katie said: "So after another hospital trip today, I had to do my Covid test again – obviously because I haven’t got it and I’m having my op this week.
"And as you can see they had to slice through my cast ready for my operation on my poor feet. So much agony, so much agony," she added.
However, the former glamour model had a huge smile on her face as she was reunited with her two youngest children: Jett and Bunny.
Sharing a sweet snap on Instagram on Tuesday evening, Katie was grinning from ear-to-ear as she cuddled up to her kids – whom she shares with Kieran Hayler.
Six-year-old Jett looked super cute in a Superman costume, while Bunny opted for a princess dress and Katie simply captioned the photo: "My babies," followed by several heart emojis.
Katie's fans were quick to comment on the post, with one person writing: "Soooo sweet," while another added: "Beautiful photo Katie get well soon 💞🌸💞🌸."
Katie is said to be 'terrified' that she could end up losing her leg after doctors warned her the wounds cannot get infected following the operation.
A source exclusively today told The Sun Online: “Katie's doctors have warned her she must take her recovery seriously and it's left her terrified.
"She's prone to getting infections after operations, and her surgeon says she could lose a leg if her feet get infected.
"She'll have to be so, so careful – she'll have medical professionals on call 24/7 – and change the dressings regularly. She's got a long road ahead of her."
Katie is currently under the care of the Fortius clinical team at Chelsea and Westminster.
The businesswoman has already been briefed her recovery could be up to six months, if all goes to plan with the procedure.
However, Katie isn't let it interfere with her day-to-day routine and even enjoyed a cheeky sun bed on Tuesday afternoon.
Taking a pic during the treatment, she told her fans: "Taking the tan lines to a new level @the_beach_tanning_resort. Feels like being on holiday with these luxury sun beds and banging tunes playing.
