Katie Price says she's engaged after boyfriend Carl Woods proposed on holiday in Turkey

KATIE Price has said she is engaged to boyfriend Carl Woods after he asked her to marry him on holiday in Turkey.

The 42-year-old star, who began been dating the former Love Islander in June, posted: "Omg @carljwoods just proposed to me I said yes ❤️."

She shared the startling announcement on social media late on Saturday night just days after being released from hospital with two broken feet.

The star also posted some footage from a dark bar where the Instagram tags showed they were with pals Paul Smith and Lori Callow.

Katie suggested the event had been a double proposal, writing: "Same time as @paulisthejoker proposed to @lorscal_phibrows and she said yes ❤️."

In the video, a voice sounding like Pricey's is heard saying: "What did you ask me, babe?"

A voice presumed to be Carl's replies: "Will you marry me?" to which she replies: "And I said yes."

The Sun Online has contacted a rep for Katie.

Many fans were delighted at the news, which comes after a nightmare few weeks for Katie culminating in her breaking both her feet leaping off a wall at a theme park.

The injury means she will not be able to walk for up to six months and will need pins in her feet.

One posted: "Wonderful news.. Big Congratulations to you both,Katie .. You so deserve to be happy x Hope your feet and ankles get better soon…"

Another wrote: "Congratulations Katie. Hope you find pure happiness with him."

The proposal came hours after Pricey revealed she'd got a new phone and number – telling blokes to stop contacting her because her heart belongs to Carl.

She posted on Instagram: "I ask that I don't want any guys to DM me and any guys I knew in the past including ex boyfriends not to try and contact me again.

"Have respect that @CarlJWoods has all my energy, time, love and soul forever and I won't reply to any form of contact again."

If Katie and Carl do get married it would be Katie's fourth time down the aisle, after weddings to Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler.
