Lucifer: Netflix release preview teaser of conversation with God

Tom Ellis has taken to his Instagram stories to share a tantalising preview of his fitness regime for his time as the crime-solving devil, Lucifer Morningstar. It may be some time before the last episodes are finally released on Netflix, but the new image was more than enough to keep some fans happy in the meantime.

Lucifer star Tom Ellis has confirmed he is getting back into his exercise regime in his latest Instagram story.

The Netflix star tagged his current trainer, Paolo Mascitti, who is helping the Welsh star retain peak physique throughout filming for Lucifer’s sixth and final season.

‘Lucifans’ quickly caught wind of Ellis’s latest update, and the new bicep-heavy image caused a stir among the fanbase on social media.

Certain corners of Twitter were quickly flooded with appreciation for Tom Ellis’s physique, which he has been maintaining since the start of Lucifer’s fourth season.

Many viewers were also hopeful the star’s revived exercise plan meant there could be some more shirtless scenes to keep fans tuning into the final eighteen episodes.

On Twitter, one fan said: “Oh my God…This is insane…He is so gorgeous…Can’t breathe anymore…Please help!!!”

They then speculated: “I also wonder what to expect in S6 now… By the body, there must be something on it’s way…”

Another fan simply commented: “FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TOM ELLIS.”

Ellis also made sure to wear a protective face mask during his recent gym session, in accordance with current rules for film and TV production during the pandemic.

While the Lucifer star certainly maintained a healthy shape during the series’ original three season run on Fox, Ellis’s muscle mass underwent a noticeable upgrade at the start of season four.

The actor reportedly gained 20 pounds of muscle for the show’s revival on Netflix, and has kept a similar figure throughout the last three seasons.

Speaking on the star’s training programme upon the release of season four, trainer Mascitti revealed it isn’t hard to get Ellis back in action.

Subscribers have already been treated to a number of scenes showing off the star’s gains in season four and the first half of Lucifer’s fifth instalment.

Surely one of the most rewatchable moments occurred in the show’s fourth season, in which Lucifer and Ella Lopez (played by Aimee Garcia) investigated a nudist colony.

Season five also included some long-awaited sex scenes between Lucifer and the love of his life, Chloe Decker (Lauren German), which viewers have been waiting for since the end of season four.

Plus, fans were incredibly impressed by a rare sight of Ellis’s behind when he appeared in a dual role as Lucifer’s evil twin brother Michael in the latest episodes.
