Mallorca villa where Love Island Australia was filmed on sale for £5.9million

Fancy staging your own, non-televised edition of Love Island?

Or do you just want to live in a snazzy villa in Mallorca?

Either way, this is an exciting property opportunity: The villa where Love Island Australia was filmed is on the market.

The mansion, which sits on 13 acres of land and has 6,450 sq ft of interior space, comes at quite the cost, with an asking price of £5.94million.

But hey, maybe it’s worth it.

Along with being the host to the first season of Love Island Australia, filmed in 2018, the villa is pretty special in itself.

Sitting on the outskirts of Pollensa, the agents say the property has incredible views over the bay.

Its grounds are filled with century-old olive trees and a four-acre vineyard planted with three grape varieties – Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot.

Inside, the home is spread over two floors, with an open-plan living space, kitchen, dining room, living room and wine cellar on the ground floor, and six double bedrooms – each with their own en suite bathroom – upstairs.

Yes, you read that correctly – there are indeed multiple bedrooms, so you don’t have to all sleep in the same room as Islanders do.

Outside, there is, of course, a large swimming pool, ideal for posing in a bikini or having a splash, plus a hot tub and a solarium.

So, plenty of spots to pull someone for a chat or do a recoupling.

The villa was used for the first season of Love Island Australia, in which Grant Crapp and Tayla Damir were announced the winners.

After that season, the show was moved to Fiji, as this made it much easier for producers to quickly fly islanders in from Australia.

This means that the first villa is no longer needed by producers – so it’s up for sale.

We suggest whoever buys it does a full recreation of Love Island, complete with increasingly stupid food-based challenges, but you could also just keep the villa as a dreamy holiday home.

A spokesman for Hamptons said: ‘This stunning country house is situated in an exclusive and elevated unique spot, on the outskirts of the village of Pollensa.

‘This exceptional position provides probably the best views over the whole Bay of Puerto Pollensa you can find in the area.

‘This fabulous mansion is deceptively spacious. The living space is completely open plan with plenty of natural light.

‘Going even further beyond the high quality of specifications, this amazing home has its own gym/spa equipped with Turkish bath, sauna, fitness room and cinema room.

‘There is also a refrigerating chamber and separate self-contained staff quarters.

‘The gardens are spectacular, partly landscaped around the house and then the rest is planted with olive trees dating back centuries and a vineyard plantation.’
