Neighbours’ Nicolette baby loss horror as Paul Robinson’s sinister plan teased
Neighbours ' Aaron Brennan and David Tanaka (Matt Wilson and Takaya Honda) can't wait for their surrogate child to be born, despite the drama that their surrogate Nicolette has brought for them.
Nicolette shocked everyone as she managed to get pregnant surprisingly quickly, and the trio can't wait for the baby to finally arrive.
But one person who is not very happy about what is yet to come for the family is David’s dad Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), who does not trust Nicolette an inch.
Ever since it was revealed that Nicolette and her coworker Aubrey stole a $100,000 scratchcard from a man who died in the care home where they worked, Paul doesn't want Nicolette anywhere near his family.
The whole family were horrified when they found out Nicolette’s secret, and David has struggled to move on from the obvious display of a lack of moral values, but it seems that the blossoming pregnancy will soon distract him from the shock.
But whilst Paul has been forced to stay quiet to keep his son and his husband happy, actress Charlotte Chimes, who plays Nicolette, has dropped a huge hint that Paul could be about to get exactly what he wants – for Nicolette not to give birth to his grandchild.
Speaking to Daily Star, Charlotte said: “Aaron manages to get over Nicolette’s past, but Paul and David take a much longer time to get over it.
“It’s not that Paul says it but he's kind of hoping for something bad to happen.
“It's early stages of the pregnancy and 1 in 3 women have miscarriages so he's hoping it doesn't come to fruition.
“Because he's worried about Nicolette and what she's capable of.”
Is something awful going to happen to Nicolette and the baby?
Charlotte continued: “My hope for Nicolette is that she does go full term and co-parent with David and Aaron and she can live in Ramsay Street with her mum and her baby and David and Aaron.
“But it is Neighbours, it is not happening!”
Looks like fans shouldn't keep their hopes up for Aaron and David getting a happy ending…
Meanwhile, Nicolette is getting herself involved with teenager Hendrix Grayson's gambling problems as she discovers how much debt he has got himself into.
She tells him that he has 24 hours to come clean about his gambling after spotting him at one of the games, otherwise she will tell everyone for him.
Neighbours continues on Monday at 1.45pm on Channel 5.
