Oscars 2021: Minari's Alan Kim, 9, is MVP as he dances down red carpet
Minari star Alan Kim has stolen everyone’s hearts as he walked – or, more accurately, danced – his way down the red carpet at the 2021 Oscars.
An actual angel!
The nine-year-old has seemingly taken his worldwide success completely in his stride after his performance as David in the Oscar nominated flick, alongside castmates Steven Yeun, Youn Yuh-jung, and Han Ye-ri.
Looking completely dapper, he rocked shorts and mismatched knee-high socks with a shirt and bow tie, and was snapped with Minari producer Christina Oh, who also looked stunning.
While going to the Oscars at the age of nine might seem like a daunting prospect, Alan has seemed completely chill, even spotted dancing down the red carpet at one point.
He’s made it clear that he’s not planning on being starstruck by anyone either as, when asked if there was anyone he was excited to see, he simply answered: ‘No, not really. I’m fine with anybody!’
Minari is up against films like Nomadland, The Father, The Trial of the Chicago 7, and Judas and the Black Messiah for best picture.
