Perfect Harmony Cancelled at NBC

Talk about a trebled development: NBC has cancelled Perfect Harmony after one low-rated season, TVLine has learned.

The music-tinged sitcom ranked as the network’s second lowest-rated series (behind the already cancelled Sunnyside). Its season (now series) finale in January drew just 1.4 million live viewers, its second lowest viewership ever (behind only the penultimate episode, which attracted 1.35 million live viewers).

Perfect Harmony starred West Wing vet Bradley Whitford as a former Princeton music professor who whips a small-town choir into shape. The cast also included Anna Camp, Will Greenberg, Tymberlee Hill, Geno Segers and Rizwan Manji.

TVLine’s Broadcast Renewal Scorecard has been updated to reflect Perfect Harmony‘s demise.
