Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid won’t be delivering the Good Morning Britain headlines next week as the pair step down for their usual half term holiday. The co-hosts often take a break inline with the UK school holidays but today the controversial host teased he might not return to the ITV show once the half-term break had finished.

Opening the show, Piers said: “Today could be our last day. You never know do you? These days.

“It’s weird to have half term off when there’s no half term. We’re sort of having half term off from this.”

“Everyone needs a bit of time out to think about all of this,” Piers added.
