Radioactive is a new movie which will be released straight to our homes. With cinemas still closed due to coronavirus, fans will be able to enjoy the film on their TV, tablet or other device. Here are all the details about Radioactive, starring the incomparable Rosamund Pike.
When is Radioactive released on streaming services?
Radioactive, a celebration of the pioneering work of Marie Curie, will be available for digital download on June 15.
After this, the film will also be available to rent on July 6, after which is will be available to buy on DVD from July 27.
It is available for pre-order now, before it is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
What is Radioactive about?
The official plot of Radioactive reads: “In the male-dominated society of late 19th century Paris, Marie is a fiercely passionate scientist, who struggles to progress her ground-breaking research, despite her obvious brilliance.
“After joining forces with fellow scientist and future husband, Pierre Curie, they take her exploration of radioactivity forward, discovering not one, but two new elements: radium and polonium.
“The genius of the Curies’ discoveries and the ensuing Nobel prize propels the devoted couple into the international limelight.
“But after a tragic accident Marie must continue to advance her work alone resulting in revolutionary discoveries that have dramatic consequences for the modern world.”

Who is in the cast of Radioactive?
Rosamund Pike stars in the main role of Marie Curie, while Sam Riley of Maleficent fame plays her husband, Pierre Curie.
Along with them, Simon Russell Beale plays Professor Lippmann, Anya Taylor-Joy as Irene Curie, Aneurin Barnard is Paul Langevin and Katherine Parkinson plays Jeanne Langevin.
The film is produced by the team behind Atonement and Darkest Hour, and is directed by Academy Award-nominated Marjane Satrapi.
