She was called to the proceedings by Jason’s lawyer, Lieutenant Commander Williams, in a bid to keep Jason calm during the hearing.

Emma attended every session with her dad and his lawyer and managed to convince her father ‘Uncle Ray’ (Neil Brown Jr) would not betray him.

Thankfully, Emma was right and her father was acquitted of all charges.

Kerri Medders plays Emma Hayes in the series and Michaela McManus starred as Jason’s now-deceased wife, Alana.

Medders and McManus made their debut as Emma and Alana in season one of SEAL Team.

In the first series, Emma was still a child and Alana and Jason were married, with Alana seeking to leave her husband.

Alana and Jason had known each other since they were nine years old and had two children, Emma and Micahel (Ammon Jacob Ford).

Although Alana and David attempted to reconcile their relationship, she ultimately asked him for divorce just before his deployment to Afghanistan at the end of season one.

Flash-forward now to the present day, Emma is now a college student and sadly, Alana is no longer living.
