Spoilers: Gemma and Chesney make a decision on baby operation in Corrie
Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) in Coronation Street recently learnt baby Aled is an ideal candidate for a cochlear implant.
Chesney was thrilled about the news, but Gemma wasn’t convinced, and when she told Chesney she didn’t want Aled to have the operation because of the risks, he was shocked.
Even after a visit from Freda, Gemma remained resolute that Aled wasn’t going to have the operation.
They’re certainly not on the same page right now as Gemma wasn’t impressed when Chesney missed another sign language lesson.
Coming up, knowing how important the op is, Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) and Paul (Peter Ash) decide to put pressure on Gemma to allow Aled the cochlear implant.
Will Gemma consider the benefits and change her mind?
If she’s still adamant Aled shouldn’t have the operation, how will that impact Chesney?
Could Gemma live to regret her decision if Aled doesn’t have the implant?
