Spoilers: Sharon is left distraught by a sick act in EastEnders

Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) has been through a lot over the past couple of months in EastEnders, what with her son Dennis Rickman (Bleu Landau) having perished in the boat tragedy, but there’s seemingly more heartache ahead for her, as Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) discovers graffiti on Dennis’ memorial bench.

Sharon found herself unable to stay in Walford following the death of her beloved son, and therefore she resolved to take a trip to Australia to visit Michelle (Susan Tully).

In her absence, Ian (Adam Woodyatt) had a bench made in Dennis’ memory— which arrived during episodes broadcast several weeks back.

In the coming episodes, Phil finds himself entangled in criminal activity once more, and with Ben (Max Bowden) in hospital ahead of his operation, it’s a stressful time all-round.

He takes some time to speak to Sharon on the phone, and — after doing so — he spots some graffiti on Dennis’ bench — something which will no doubt leave both Sharon and Phil upset.

Phil heads over the sort the problem, but Danny soon shows up wanting to speak to him.

What does he want?
