Spoilers: Tony faces a big decision in Hollyoaks amid brain tumour trauma

Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) receives devastating news courtesy of his sinister father Edward (Joe McGann) in the coming episodes of Hollyoaks, as he learns that he’s got a brain tumour, but — as he comes to terms with this revelation — he finds himself being forced to make a difficult decision.

After all of the hell he was put through by serial killer Breda (Moya Brady) — who held him captive in a pig pen for the better part of half a year — Tony has finally stated to get his life back.

With love of his life Diane (Alex Fletcher) by his side — much to Edward’s dismay — and new sister Verity (Eva O’Hara) — he’s got a lot to smile about, but in the coming episodes, he finds himself back in the hospital following his shock collapse — which leads to him discovering some bad news.

As he awakes in the hospital, he is seemingly confused by what has transpired — and Edward insists that he stay until he’s had a brain scan.

Elsewhere, Luke’s (Gary Lucy) birthday party gets underway, and Diane shows up and tells all the guests about Tony’s shock collapse.

Meanwhile, Edward tells Tony that he’s got a brain tumour, leaving him devastated, and — later — he attempts to come to terms with what he’s learned, and finds himself being forced to make a big decision.

What the big decision is — not to mention the outcome of said decision — remains to be seen.

Will Tony be okay?
