Stacey Solomon shares adorable snaps from family beach trip that’s left her crunching sand in her mouth – The Sun

STACEY Solomon gave her Instagram fans an insight into her heart-warming wet-weather beach day with Joe Swash and the kids.

Yet despite the adorable images of her children Leighton, eight, and Rex, aged one, playing on the sand – she was left "crunching" the grains for the rest of the day.

The Loose Women panelist documented their trip to the sands, about an hour away from their home, on her Instagram Stories starting with a smiling family selfie.

She later captured second eldest Leighton running in shorts along the beach, and added the words: "We made it.

"We thought it would be a good idea to come to the beach as it's a rainy, cold day.

"No-one is here, it's so lovely," followed by a crying Emoji face.

Stacey, 30, melted the hearts of her fans as she shared a sweet image of her youngest, one-year-old Rex, her first child with Joe, standing with his dad close to a pool of sea water.

Rex oozed cuteness in a bright yellow anorak and patterned trousers as he walked tentatively on the sand, with the former EastEnders actor holding out a hand for support.

She wrote: "We are on our way back now it's fair to say Rex loves the seaside.

"He wasn't sure about the seagulls, he just shouted at them.

"He kept wanting to stand still without holding hands."

She later told how his big brother Leighton, her son with Aaron Barnham, was acting like he was in the "Bahamas" as he "doesn't feel the cold."

Yet later on, when she returned home for an evening bath, she told how she was "crunching sand."

Holding up a bath bomb to the screen, she wrote: "I need to have a bath because I'm crunching sand.

"I don't remember getting any sand around or near my face but some reason I keep crunching on little grains.

"What the heck is that?" adding a laughing Emoji icon face.

Earlier in the week, Stacey revealed a rare home nightmare as she told fans her parsley plant was on its last legs.

Despite watering – and talking to – the potted herb, she pleaded for assistance as to how to revive it.
