Strictly's Craig Revel Horwood shocks fans with mega tan on This Morning saying Anton Du Beke is thrilled to be a judge

CRAIG Revel Horwood looked ready for the ballroom when he appeared on This Morning today – sporting a deep Strictly-style tan.

The 56-year-old dance judge appeared on the show moments after it was revealed Anton Du Beke would be appearing on the judging panel.

The long-time dance pro is being drafted onto the panel after it was deemed "too risky" to rely on US-based Bruno Tonioli.

Craig told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: "I was delighted when Anton got the job. I spoke to him on the way to the studio and he's super excited.

"Isn't it about time, darling? There is a time in your life when you have to give up the dance shoes. He deserves it."

But many could only focus on the star's glowing complexion with one tweeting: "That tan. 🙈🙈🙈."

Anton, 54, has been confirmed as a judge on the upcoming 2021 series after a successful stint filling in last year.

He'll join returning Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse on the judging panel.

Anton joined Strictly during its first series and is the only professional dancer to have danced in every series to date.

Announcing he's swapping the dance floor for a seat at the judges' table, Anton said it was a "dream come true".

Later in his This Morning interview, Craig revealed that Strictly will be returning in just three months' time, saying: "We go live at the end of September."

Speaking about the lack of audiences in the previous series he said: "There was no one to boo me – I had to boo myself. It felt really flat.

"We had 10 of the crew in screaming and shouting. Fingers crossed it will go steaming ahead [this year]."
