Christopher Jeffries – Jason Watkins
Jason Watkins portrays the real Christopher Jeffries in The Lost Honour of Christopher Jeffries.
On December 30, 2010, Joanna Yeates’s landlord and neighbour, 65-year-old Christopher Jeffries was arrested and questioned by police as a suspect in her murder.
Following his arrest, Jeffries was vilified in the media, particularly regarding his eccentric appearance, even after he had been released on bail by the police.
He was later ruled out as a suspect in the investigation into Yeates’s death.
Watkins is an English stage, film and television actor from Albrighton, Shropshire.
For his performance as Jefferies, Watkins won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Actor.
Most recently, he portrayed Harold Wilson In The Crown season three.
His other credits include Trollied, W1A and Nativity.

Paul Okebu – Shaun Parkes
Shaun Parkes portrayed real solicitor, Paul Okebu in The Lost Honour of Christopher Jeffries.
He was part of the legal team who represented Jeffries.
Parkes is best known for playing Moses Jones in the BBC Two series of the same name.
In Moses Jones, he starred alongside Matt Smith, Ellen Thomas and Femi Elufowoju Jr.
His other credits include Clubbed, The Mummy Returns, Things to Do Before You’re 30 and the acclaimed Notes on a Scandal
Charles Chapman – Ben Caplan
Call The Midwife’s Ben Caplan played the role of Charles Chapman in The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies.
Charles is based on a real person, who was a former pupil of Jefferies at Clifton College in Bristol.
He helped Jefferies with his libel case against members of the British press.
Speaking to Digital Spy ahead of the film’s initial release in 2015, Caplan said: “They were very good friends after school and socialised quite a lot.
“This character was responsible for taking Christopher in when he was arrested and couldn’t go back to his flat.
“His family supported him through that whole period and then encouraged him to do something about it rather than just allow those stories to stick.”

After two days of questioning, Yeates’s neighbour, 32-year-old Vincent Tabak was charged on January 22, 2011, with Yeates’s murder.
On May 5, 2011, he pleaded guilty to manslaughter but denied murdering her.
After a lengthy trial, he was found guilty on October 28, 2011 and sentenced to life in prison, with a minimum term of 20 years.
Sims is best known for playing Nige Carter in ITV’s Broadchurch.
