This Morning stars Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby had fans tearing up as they hugged for the first time in months.
On their return to the This Morning sofa, Holly, 39, and Phil, 58, were treated to the ability to hug through a cuddle curtain.
Holly admitted she was “really excited” as two members of the production team wheeled in the cuddle curtain, which consists of a rail with a plastic sheet in the middle and four arm holes with reversible plastic sleeves on.
The TV duo then placed the plastic sleeves along their arms and Holly asked: “How long since we’ve done this?”

To which Phillip replied: “April? March!” And Holly said in shock: “So almost six months!”
Holly, who recently shared a rare snap of her daughter, and Phillip then embraced for the first time in months as they have had to socially distance due to the pandemic.
As they hugged, Holly said: “Oh my God! I don’t want to let go.”
Phillip, who is rumoured to be in talks to appear on Strictly Come Dancing this year, also repeated Holly’s sentiments before the blonde beauty began to pat Phillip around his back and said: “Oh there you are!”
This Morning fans couldn’t help but get overwhelmed with emotion by the touching moment on the show, which also marked the first show after Holly and Phil’s summer breaks.
One wrote on Twitter: “Phil and Holly hugging. We needed that as much as they did. Should start every show like that. Make us all feel good. Still a bit jealous though. Can't wait to hug my kids and grandkids again.”
As another asked: “Why am I feeling quite emotional looking at Phil and Holly hugging with the #CuddleCurtain? It has to be hard for people so close to be around but not be able to hug each other. Every family need a cuddle curtain”.
And a third confessed: “I’m sorry but I’m tearing up watching holly and Phil hug each other”.

Holly was recently reportedly forced to return earlier from her Portugal holiday then originally planned in order to quarantine for two weeks ahead of her return to the show.
A source told Mail Online: “Holly accepts that she has to go into quarantine and will follow the rules but she isn't happy losing two weeks from her holiday.
“The summer break is her chance to re-charge after a hectic period and to spend time with her family.”
They added: “After all the stresses of the pandemic she had been looking forward to relaxing as long as possible.
“Instead of seven weeks away she has had to make it five – but it's what she's had to do to keep the This Morning team safe and to ensure she returns to the show on time.”
