What happened to Lamar Odom's son?
Odom's six-month-old son Jayden, whom he had with then-partner Liza Morales, unexpectedly passed away when he was just 27.
He recalled to the New Zealand Herald: "I got a phone call that changed my life. It was the summer of 2006. I had been out partying all night, and I hadn't gone home.
"My son Jayden was six months old at the time. He was at home in his crib. I should've been at home with him. But I was out, doing whatever.
"Early in the morning, I got a call from his mother. She was panicking. I was like, 'Yo, calm down. What's wrong?'
"And she said, 'Jayden … he won't wake up… The ambulance is here. They're taking him now.'
"I was in Manhattan. I had to drive all the way to Long Island. When I got to the hospital, the doctors just told me that, you know, 'He's not responding.' They said, 'He's gone.'…
"I just seen him. Gone? How the f**k is that even possible? How can he be gone?
"I walked into the hospital room … and the hurt on his mother's face, I'll never forget that. How she couldn't believe it. Six months old. Gone.

"He'd be 11 now. I used to think about what he would look like if he was still here. Actually, I still think about it almost every day."
He went on to explain that the cause of death was sudden infant syndrome. "You're supposed to accept it," he said. "You're just supposed to live with that."
He pinpointed his drug spiral on that pivotal moment, and said his use "subconsciously picked up" as a way to deal with the grief.
Does Lamar Odom have other children?
Odom had two more children with Morales: his daughter Destiny, who is 18, and son Lamar Jr who is 16.
Odom has struggled with drug issues his entire life since he first tried cocaine on vacation in Florida when he was 24-years-old.
He told The Player's Tribune: "I wish I could tell you there was a reason for it. There wasn't. It was just an asinine decision I made.
"If I knew that it was going to affect my life the way it did, I would've never even thought about it. Never. But I did it. It turned out to be a life-altering decision."
Who is Lamar Odom dating?
Odom was recently engaged to fitness trainer Sabrina Parr, but the pair called it quits in November 2020.
“Y’all know I’m honest and transparent so I have to be the first to let you guys know that I am no longer engaged to Lamar,” the 33-year-old trainer wrote on Instagram at the time.
“This has been a difficult decision for me to make but it is the best for myself and my children.”
She went on to add that Odom had some things that he had to "work through alone."
Odom's children were reportedly blindsided by the engagement and found out it had happened on social media. After the pair split, Odom described Parr as a "decrepit, reptilian woman" on the Wendy Williams show.
He dated the mother of his children, Liza Morales, for over 10 years after the pair met as teens.
Odom was later in a high profile relationship with Khloe Kardashian, who he was married to from 2009-2016.
The retired athlete appeared alongside his ex-wife on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, while they also starred in the spinoff Khloe & Lamar together from 2011-2012.
While Morales and Odom called it quits 15 years ago, the new reality star, who appears on Basketball Wives, hasn't been shy about publicly shading her ex.
Back in October, Morales took to social media to accuse Odom of owing her college tuition money for their son.
Morales wrote at the time: “Let’s get to the real … wher is LJ (Lamar Jr’s) college money??? We have been asking for it."
