Where is Taskmaster filmed and where is the house?
TASKMASTER is on our screens for another series, which means viewers are in for lots of laughs at a fresh batch of comics.
But where exactly do the strange tasks take place? Here's all about the filming locations.
Where is the house from Taskmaster?
The Taskmaster house is a property close to Chiswick Bridge in London.
RadioTimes.com revealed the house is a former groundskeepers’ cottage inside a golf course and that the property was once listed to rent for £4,117 per month.
It's a three-bedroom bungalow that the crew actually move in for the duration of filming the show.
Director Andy Devonshire told RadioTimes.com: "We move in and live here for the period of filming.
"After series one I think they had some people come in and stay over the summer, but we de-Taskmaster it when we go away so it is very different.
"There’s a different theme inspired by a specific artist every series so there’s obviously things that stay the same but we redecorate within the boundaries of that. When we leave it’s quite minimalist."
The Taskmaster himself is never seen at the house but his assistant Little Alex Horne is always in attendance to keep an eye on proceedings.
Most of the new series was filmed before the pandemic, but the live studio sections were filmed at Pinewood Studios after social distancing rules came into place.
For this reason there is no studio audience.
However the show was aired to a specially distanced audience at The Curzon Cinema, Soho, so the reactions are all genuine.
When is Taskmaster on Channel 4 and how many episodes are there?
Taskmaster continues TONIGHT (November 26) at 9pm on Channel 4.
It will continue to air weekly on Channel 4 for a total of 10 hour-long episodes.
Each episode is being repeated on E4 on Saturday evenings.
The previous nine series are all available to watch on All 4.
This is the first season of the show to air on Channel 4 after it moved over from Dave.
The comedians featuring on the show are Daisy May Cooper, Johnny Vegas, Katherine Parkinson, Mawaan Rizwan and Richard Herring.
Greg Davies shared that one contestant in particular got on his nerves.
He said: "There's one person in this upcoming series, who clearly, for every prize task, as they were leaving the house, just grabbed anything they could see.
"And it infuriated me. Week by week, it infuriated me that they'd just gone, 'Oh, I'll just take that'."
Tune in on Thursdays at 9pm to find out who he's talking about.
