Armed police order neighbours to ‘stay inside’ as cops surround flats in Hull – The Sun

ARMED police have ordered residents to "stay inside" as they surround a housing estate in Hull.

Neighbours in Southcoates, Hull have expressed their shock at seeing armed cops from Humberside Police surround the flats.

A Humberside Police spokeswoman said: "We are in attendance in Durham Street as part of an ongoing operation".

One resident told Hull Live: "It is scary. The full street is cordoned off and armed police have turned up.

"We have been told to get inside our properties. I don't know what is happening."
