At least five people were injured in a late-night shooting in San Francisco’s troubled Tenderloin district, police revealed early Sunday.

Police and medics raced to an area outside a grocery store after calls of multiple gunshot victims late Saturday, San Francisco police said.

“This investigation is active and we have 5 shooting victims. Preliminary information is all victim’s suffered non-life-threatening injuries,” the force’s Tenderloin precinct tweeted early Sunday.

“Prelimary information is all victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries,” the force said.

“Firearms have been recovered,”
the force added, suggesting there may have been more than one shooter.

There were no details of possible suspects or arrests.
