Man fatally shot in head; another injured at East New York apartment Friday night

Two men were shot —  including one fatally in the head —  in an East New York apartment Friday night, police said.

The gunfire erupted just before 8:30 p.m. Friday in a residence on Livonia Avenue near the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue, leaving a 28-year-old dead and a 40-year-old man hospitalized with two gunshot wounds to his stomach, cops said.

The 28-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 40-year old was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center and is in stable condition, according to police.

A motive was not immediately clear and it’s not yet known how the victims were related.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.

Police identified the victim as Evan Hillman of Liberty Avenue in Brownsville.
