Melania Trump 'refused to move to White House until the Obamas' toilet had been ripped out & a new one installed'
MELANIA Trump refused to move into the White House until a new toilet was installed in the Obamas’ former bedroom, according to a new book.
Picky Melania thought the living quarters at the presidential residence were a dump, her former adviser Stephanie Winston Wolkoff is set to claim in Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady, out next month.

“Melania just flat out refused to move to Washington DC until it had been completely redesigned and revamped,” a book insider said.
“Stephanie talks about how she took one look at her bedroom and bathroom and demanded a new shower and toilet.
“She was not prepared to use the same bathroom as the Obamas or anyone else for that matter – it wouldn’t matter if it was the Queen of England.
“She wanted everything redecorated, repainted, new furniture and decor – everything was old and shabby and she wanted it to be brand new.
“Melania is the wife of the president and doesn’t expect she should have to make do with second hand or previously used facilities.
“In fact she seemed to be much more concerned about the decor than she did about allegations of her husband’s alleged infidelity, according to Stephanie.”
Melania ended up staying put in her gold-encrusted quarters in the Trump Tower penthouse in New York while the bathroom was redone and other improvements were made to Michelle Obama’s old living space.
Son Barron remained with her and she ended up extending her stay to July 2017, when his school term ended.
With taxpayers shelling out $150,000 a day for Melania’s security at the tower, rumors started to circulate about why she hadn’t moved with her husband, the source said.
Stephanie allegedly wrote the bombshell book after secretly taping the First Lady making “harsh comments” about Ivanka Trump and trashing her husband, according to reports.
The book does not state that the conversations are based on secret tapes, the book insider said.
However journalist Yashar Ali said earlier this week that sources had confirmed to him that they were.
Stephanie, who worked for Vogue and helped planned the prestigious Met Ball in New York City for around a decade, first met Melania when she was dating Donald in 2003.
She started working for Trump’s administration in 2016 where she helped plan his inauguration and became Melania’s trusted adviser.
The friends fell out after Stephanie was blamed for financial irregularities to do with the inauguration and Melania “stood by her man… a betrayal which nearly destroyed” Stephanie, according to the book’s description.
The description adds: “In this candid and emotional memoir, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff takes you into Trump Tower and the White House to tell the funny, thrilling, and heartbreaking story of her intimate friendship with one of the most famous women in the world, a woman few people truly understand.”
The book is due out on September 1st.
